Hiking

Our guided hikes offer boundless options for outdoor enthusiasts seeking to explore nature in an up-close-and-personal way.

We’ll work with you to share various trail system maps, terrain information and expected sights so you can choose the ideal hike option – be it casual (1-2 miles round trip), moderate (3-5 miles round trip) or challenging (5+ miles round trip).

Our guides hold permits to lead small groups of travelers on some of the most beautiful, remote trail systems we know of, including – but not limited to – wilderness inside Chugach State Park, Chugach National Forest, Kenai National Wildlife Refuge, Kenai Fjords National Park and near Denali National Park.

Get ready to experience Alaska’s backcountry on a myriad of established trails, while learning about Alaska’s unique flora and fauna. It’s common to spot wildlife from a safe distance while on the trail, and our approach includes ample time to stop and smell the wildflowers, snap unforgettable photos and enjoy some trail snacks and a gourmet pack lunch.

Hikes include varying levels of elevation gain, with opportunities to pass through several different ecosystems – sometimes with the chance to walk on the bouncy tundra floor. If you seek unparalleled trekking through national parks, wildlife refuges, mountain passes and beyond, we have many options available!
