Rafting

Explore the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge at the river’s pace – by raft!

One of the best ways to gain access to Alaska’s stunning backcountry is through our Kenai River rafting trips. In addition to being included as an activity option on many of our Alaska Adventures and Lodge Packages, we offer day trip rafting options as well.

Embarking from our boat launch at Kenai Riverside Lodge, you’ll explore the turquoise waters and wooded riverbank scenery with our talented guides leading the way. Our guides handle the rowing and navigation so that you can relax, take in the sights, ask questions and scan for abundant wildlife along the river, including owls, ducks, waterfowl, moose and sometimes bears. And don’t forget the Kenai River is home to migrating salmon!

Our Kenai River Scenic Float is a two-hour float trip on the Upper Kenai River. Search for wildlife and learn about local natural and cultural history from our friendly guides.

The Kenai Canyon Raft Trip is for those seeking more adventure by embarking on a full day of Alaska rafting. This seven-hour trip features Class II+ mild whitewater rapids, a gourmet picnic lunch and travels through a wilderness area inside the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge.
