Alaska Wildland Adventures was among one of the first companies to be permitted to raft and fish the upper Kenai river, and we still enjoy sharing our fishing stories with all our guests. AWAs' own Kenai River Sportfishing Lodge offers premium Alaska fishing packages throughout the summer season; fish for trophy catches of king, sockeye or silver salmon, plus rainbow trout, Dolly Varden and even giant halibut. Choose from two to seven day packages, including expert guides, top-quality boats and gear, delicious meals, private cabins with bath amenities, a full-service lodge and complimentary fish processing.

It doesn't take over 30 years to know where the fish are, but it sure helps! Since 1977, AWA has been guiding guests on Alaska fishing trips down the Kenai River. The banks of the Upper Kenai River offer productive fishing for sockeye salmon, silver salmon, rainbow trout, & Dolly Varden, while the Lower Kenai River offers the ultimate chase for the world's largest king salmon or hard-fighting silvers, depending upon the season. First Night: Plan to be picked-up in Anchorage in the afternoon between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. (exact times to be specified at time of booking, depending on your pickup point). Depart the city for a scenic two-hour drive to Cooper Landing, home of Kenai River Sportfishing Lodge. Upon arrival, you'll be greeted for an orientation and tour of our property with time to settle into your cabin before dinner. After being briefed by our seasoned fishing staff on what to expect over the next few days, enjoy a relaxing evening and prepare for tomorrow's fishing adventure. Here's to your fishing vacation! Days 1- 7: Fishing days, as selected in advance of your visit, are based from Kenai River Sportfishing Lodge. Fish up to eight hours per day with other anglers (novice to accomplished) and our experienced and friendly guides on the Upper and Lower Kenai River. We also arrange for halibut charters, as well as coho salmon fishing in Resurrection Bay depending on the season, and special fly-out fishing adventures. Your fishing options and destinations will be scheduled in advance of your visit. (B,L,D)

Last Day: After breakfast, bid farewell to Kenai River Sportfishing Lodge and return to Anchorage via shuttle arriving by noon. (B)
