Please note: Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge is a top attraction of many of our All Inclusive Alaska Trips and an excellent complement to our Alaska Adventure Packages. You can also book Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge on a stand-alone basis as explained in the detailed itinerary below; our suggestion is a minimum of two nights at the lodge to take in and experience the magnificence of the surroundings.

Arrival / Day 1: Morning departure from the scenic seaport of Seward (many guests find it convenient to spend the night prior in Seward). After a four-to-five-hour wildlife and tidewater glacier journey of Kenai Fjords National Park by boat (included), arrive at the shores of your remote wilderness destination. The Lodge and guest cabins are an easy 20 minute walk from the outer coast along a maintained trail; motorized travel is provided if desired. Orientation, optional afternoon activity, dinner and evening program. (L,D)
|
Day 2 (& additional days): Choose from an array of daily activities including guided sea kayaking (short and long options), nature walks, exploring the lagoon by canoe, and interpretive programs. Take a pack lunch during extended activities or join an in-camp lunch for shorter ones. Take time to relax if you wish. Dinner and evening programs nightly. (B,L,D)
|
Last Day: Choose a short morning activity to suit your interest. After an in-camp lunch, board the boat for a coastal wildlife and scenic tour of Kenai Fjords National Park as you return to Seward. Arrive early evening, in time for train and bus departures to Anchorage or overnight in Seward. (B,L)

Note: We do not expect any major changes from this schedule. However, in the spirit of adventure, we allow our itinerary to remain flexible so that we may take advantage of spontaneous events.

Trip Price: Prices are in U.S. dollars excluding taxes and fuel surcharges, when applicable. Prices are per person, based on double occupancy from Seward; solo traveler rates apply. Please ask about discounts for triple/quadruple occupancy, when available. Trip price includes all meals, accommodations, and activities as noted. Boat tour to and from the lodge from Seward as well as all daily entry fees to Pedersen Lagoon Wildlife Sanctuary are included. Optional special interest activities may be offered at the lodge for an additional fee.
Trip price does not include tax, applicable fuel surcharge(s), alcoholic beverages, gratuities to staff, or items of a personal nature.
Public transportation by bus or rail is available for Seward travel. You may also choose to self-drive to Seward (multi-day parking is available for purchase). Or, arrive to Seward via cruise ship and return to Anchorage by rail or bus after your stay at Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge.
Kenai Fjords Glacier Lodge is located on the remote wilderness shores of Kenai Fjords National Park. While daily access by boat is possible most every day of the summer, unseasonal weather occurs from time to time. If in the remote chance that safe and comfortable boat travel to the lodge is not possible, KFGL will provide alternate accommodations, activities, and meals in the beautiful seacoast town of Seward until passage to the lodge is possible. In this case, no refunds will be granted and no additional charges will be levied. We recommend planning a night in Seward before or after a lodge visit for maximum flexibility in case of delays to the lodge. Trip planning materials will be mailed to you upon reservation.
