"The Explorer Safari was a great mix of boating, camping, lodging, hiking... a perfect combination to experience Alaska. Our 9 & 12 year old children were equally awed by the adventure. AWA was extremely accommodating to their food & adventure desires. We've never eaten that well camping!! The 4 guides were the very best we could have imagined! We will highly recommend AWA to our friends."

Alaska Explorer Safari

Celebrating the spirit of our company's beginnings, we proudly present a very special version of our original trip. Explore your way through Alaska's diverse wilderness in style. This nine-day safari is our original "adventure with a shower" trip. Visit our original Kenai Riverside Lodge, the wilderness of the Kenai National Wildlife Refuge with two nights at Kenai Backcountry Lodge, our highly acclaimed eco-lodge and an in-depth deluxe camping adventure in Denali National Park. You'll camp in comfort for two nights and our style of "roughing it" is well worth it, as our guides, of course, do all the chores!
